my internet friends have wiped my tears dozens more times than my “real life friends”

I agree. TBH, I wouldn’t have laughed a lot in life if not because of them. Such precious beings that I would definitely call friends. I’m a lonely person in life and I don’t know what’s wrong with me that people usually find it awkward being around me. When I met such awesome people here, I finally found a safe haven with people who understand me. Really, they are so precious and I don’t know if they’ll believe me or what but I definitely treasure them.

As someone who has had bad IRL friendships, I have to say that I’ve made better friends over the internet. That’s not to say that I haven’t met some people online who I thought were my friends only to discover they aren’t all they’re cracked up to be. However, I’ve made some of my best friends online. I really appreciate all of the ones that I still have.

I remember telling some people (or at least writing about this) that sometimes I felt I had some closer friendships with people online than people I knew IRL.They thought I was bat-shit insane. 

But I still believe it to be true. There are more than a few things  that my ‘internet friends’ know that I still can’t talk about with anyone else.
